The Location
Located on Japan’s stunning northern-most island, Hokkaido, Niseko has become an internationally acclaimed destination for winter sport enthusiasts thanks to the quality and consistency of powder snow. Niseko receives on average over 550 inches of snow per season - that’s the height of a five story building!
The Workshop
A balance of traditional learning and practicing your skills in the field, Alex will walk you through his processes, mindset, and strategies to capture timeless images. Alex will walk you through the stages of a commercial job from pitching the client to executing the shoot right on the mountain with dedicated ski talent.
In addition to shooting on the mountain and in the backcountry, you will also participate in a Bentley Motors automobile shoot. Learn how to shoot their SUV, the Bentley Bentayga, in mountain environments, and create a compelling story with Bentley as the center of focus.
The Experience
Nestled at the foot of Grand Hirafu Resort, Ki Niseko is a boutique ski-in, ski-out hotel that combines modern alpine charm with Japanese sophistication. Enjoy the ease of a dedicated ski valet and walk out the doors directly to the slopes. Regenerate with a soak in the mineral rich Onsen (hot spring baths) or partake in optional spa services. Indulge in local culinary experiences and culture before retiring to the comfort of your private room with views of Mt Yotei.

A legal language version of our trip cancellation is this:
We reserve the right to cancel any trip, at any time, prior to the scheduled departure date for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, insufficient participation, local weather conditions or logistical problems that, in our sole judgment, may impede trip operations. In the event we cancel your trip for any reason whatsoever other than a force majeure event, your sole and exclusive remedy shall be the refund of all payments we received from you as of the date of cancellation. In addition, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to recover and refund to you the balance of your payment amounts that were advanced to suppliers, less our expenses, if any, of such recovery, as promptly as possible.
