The nooq sauna was born out of my love for sauna sessions. Back in 2022 I started to research outside saunas four our home and was not thrilled with the options out there. It seemed like my options were: 1. a cheap barrel sauna built to poor standards, 2. a very expensive custom made sauna. Not being happy with either of those options, I went with option 3: design and build my own.

It had to: have a lobby to keep the heat in, match the aesthetic of our house, be roomy enough for 4-5 users, breathe well, be in accordance with proper sauna specs (bench heights for max heat), heat up very fast, and have a wi-fi stove to get It started on my way home.
